Meeting Agenda November 04, 2009 Thanksgiving and December Projects Scheduled.

1. Pajama Project Last day to bring in Jammies is Monday, November 9. We will need volunteers to count and sort the Jammies. See an officer after the meeting. 2. School Supply Drive ABSOLUTE last day for donations is Monday, November 9. 3. SHOE DRIVE - Last day to bring in shoes is Monday, November 9. 4. SCN T-Shirt / Sweatshirt The shirts will be delivered on monday and available at the next meeting!! 5. SOUP KITCHENS Spots still available for November and December. Sign up today! 6. THANKSGIVING FOOD BOX PROJECT See handout and sign up for what you will donate! 7. THANKSGIVIING SOUP KITCHEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY The Salvation Army is need of volunteers on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 to help serve a meal to the homeless. Time is between 12 and 3pm. Set-up, servers, and clean-up crew neded. See Mr. Stevens for more info. 8. BELL RINGING Salvation Army Bell Ringing day is Saturday, December 12, from 10am to 6pm outside of Sears on Route 22. We need 24 volunteers to sign up for a two hour shift. 9 ANGEL TREE We haved already committed to 100 "angels" to adopt for the holiday season. More infor coming out in the next few weeks. 10. Volunteer Tutoring Opportunity The Salvation Army in Plainfield is in need of volunteer tutors starting in January. Scheduling is flexible. Tutoring will begin in January. More info on the way.
