Meeting Agenda November 17, 2009 Final Thanksgiving Plans

1. FOOD STILL NEEDED FOR THANKSGIVING BASKETS There are still MANY items needed for our food boxes. If you did not sign up to bring in food, PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY!! All food MUST BE TURNED IN BY THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20. Donating food to this project takes the place of dues!!! 2. Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen Opportunity Sign up TODAY if you plan to either set up, serve food, or be on the clean-up crew for the Salvation Army's Thanksgiving Meal that will be served to area homeless this SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23 from 12 noon to 3pm at the Salvation Army, corner of Watchung Avenue and 7th Street in Plainfield. 3. There will be a Food Box Assembly meeting on Monday, November 23 at 2:30 in room 152. Help us put together the food boxes!! There will be NO MEETING on Wednesday, November 25. 4. BRING IN YOUR FROZEN TURKEY Frozen turkeys still needed to provide Thanksgiving Meal for the local needy. Bring in your turkeys on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23 ONLY. 5. Salvation Army Bell Ringing Due to the number of SCN members who want to "Stand the Kettle," we will be at two locations on Saturday, December 12 from 10am till 6pm. 6. SCN T-SHirts and Hoodies We ordered extra t-shirts and hoodies for those who missed the last order. Pick up an order form from one of the officers and see Mr. Stevens for size availability.
