Meeting Agenda December 09, 2009 Countdown to Christmas: Final Surge for December Projects

1. Salvation Army Bell Ringing Bell RInging is this Saturday, December 12. THosed who signed up will receive a reminder notice on Friday. 2. Tiny Tim Fund Carol Night Those who signed up for TIny TIm Caroling should pick up their canister can and packets after the meeting. 3. SCN's 18th Annual Christmas Food Drive. BRING CANNED AND BOXED FOOD INTO YOUR HOMEROOM. 4. Proect Angel Tree Good news: we have sponsored 75 children so far!!! Bad news: there are still 20 children in need of sponsorship. There is still time - sign up for you child after the meeting today. 5. SCN Envoys Each member of SCN is an official "envoy" to all of your classes. Since many first period classes do not hear announcemnets and fliers are not allowed to be posted throughout the school, WE NEED YOU to get the word out. 6. SCN T-Shirts and Hoodies Two hoodies and lots of Tshirts still available. See Mr. Stevens for sizes. 7. December spotlight is the Salvation Army. Guest speaker next week!! 8. Previous Monthly SPotlights are now ongoing programs that are volunteer opportunities: Center for Hope Hospice; Soup Kitchens; Junior League Thrift Shop.
