SCN to sponsor telethon January 15, 2010 The recent earthquake in Haiti can easily pluck at two different heartstrings in any American: thankfulness for being safe and compassion that moves us to want to help. SCN has decided to tackle its second telethon (the first being Hurricane Katrina in 2005). This year's event will be co-sponsored by Amnesty International and the TV Club. Preliminary plans include a variety of bands, performances by the Step Squad, the Dance team and the cheerleaders. The Food Court will also be open as well as a Tricky Tray. SCN will be holding an All Club Officer meeting on Thursday, January 21 to invite and include any club in the school to be a part of this event.
